Summary — 19 June 2026
A heavy day — and an honest one.
The first sweep this morning was thin (three items) because the capture engine had been silently dead since 15 June and the classifier was burying real tools as "opinion". Both are now fixed. Re-run properly, the day produced around fifteen scoreable items — three worth acting on immediately, the rest worth watching or parking. The standouts all point the same way: the work is shifting from using AI tools to orchestrating them, and AI-answer visibility (GEO) is becoming the marketing battleground I should be selling into.
Act on now ≥6/9
- Claude Design — design-system import + two-way sync with Claude Code (7/9). This directly upgrades how every client surface ships: the house CSS and brand stay consistent across projects, and
/design-syncpulls the system straight into the repo. Adopt this week. ACT - The GEO cluster — AI-answer visibility (7/9). Several panel voices in one week (Lily Ray, Glenn Gabe and others) on AI-Overview citations, the "97% of llms.txt files never read" finding, and leadership panic over LLM visibility. This is exactly the GIG GIGI play, the Fintan play, and a standalone Articulate GEO offer. Fold it into the offer and a client-facing explainer. ACT
- LiteParse — fastest local, model-free PDF → markdown (6/9). Apache-licensed, runs locally, beats the usual parsers on three benchmarks. Slots straight into our proposal and document pipelines. ACT
Worth a look 4–5/9
- Google Vids — slides to an AI-avatar-presented video, free. The one I want for internal use: an avatar that presents the weekly meeting, plus product/process explainers. A cheap explainer tier for GIG (not hero reels) and volume content for clinic and real-estate clients. Trial it on this week's meeting.
- GLM-5.2 running locally on a Mac Studio (2-bit). A frontier-class open model at zero inference cost, with a data-sovereign angle for UAE clients. Test on the Studio against the current routing.
- Premiere-for-agents — an AI editor that watches footage and cuts; test for GIG reels. Cua Driver → Linux — background computer-use for agents. Midjourney real-time imaging — for GIG/clinic visuals. Netflix-engineer context compression (~95% token cut) — investigate; if it holds it cuts our biggest run cost. Unreal 5.8 ships native MCP — a strong "MCP as the universal control plane" signal. Claude enterprise-managed OAuth — matters when clients scale connectors. The one-person GTM team — a direct Articulate offer angle.
Parked / not for us
- Moda — a brand-design agent; treat as competitive intelligence and a positioning hook against our brand-asset offer, not a tool to adopt.
- "Claude builds an Instagram business on autopilot" — thread-bait, no real tool. Logged for completeness.
- The usual founder-flex, crypto and get-rich threads — dropped as noise (129 of 216 captures today).
What I'm doing with it
Adopting Claude Design now and folding GEO into the Articulate offer as the headline move. Trialling Google Vids on the weekly meeting and benching GLM-5.2 on the Studio. Everything scored sits in the database; the Tier-1 keepers feed the Better Tribe field guides, and the act-on items become the next newsletter and LinkedIn posts.
